Type species Brahmina brenskei Reitter, 1900 View in CoL (= Brahmina ( Anoxiella) potanini (Semenov, 1891)) View in CoL , by monotypy. Synonymy by Medvedev (1951).

Note: Seidlitz (1905) incorrectly spelt Schistocometa View in CoL as “ Schistocamenta ”, and Dalla Torre (1912a) incorrectly spelt Schistocometa View in CoL as “ Schizocometa ”.
