Schismatothele benedettii Panzera, Perdomo & Pérez-Miles 2011 View in CoL
Schismatothele benedettii Panzera, Perdomo & Pérez-Miles 2011: 130 View in CoL , figs 1–7 (description of ♂, ♀) Type material. Holotype ♂, Manaus (2o30’S, 60o00’W), Brazil, 20.XI.1986, B.C. Klein. Paratype ♀, same locality and collector, 13.III.1986. Both specimens deposited in INPA, not examined.
Diagnosis. Females differ from those of other species by the aspect of spermathecae ( Panzera et al. 2011: fig. 7), with the dorsal receptacle which have curved tubular digitiform lobules and the ventral receptacle wide, flattened and fused. Males can be recognized by the aspect of the male palpal bulb ( Panzera et al. 2011: figs 4–5), with a parietal concave-convex lobe and a short embolus.
Description. See description of male and female in Panzera et al. 2011; the descriptions and figures clearly reveal those of a new species of the genus Schismatothele .
