Type locality. Villavicencio , Meta, Colombia.

Bionomics. One adult of this species was collected in a Mosquito Magnet ® Independence trap in a secondary forest fragment in the southeast of the Atlantic Forest, state of São Paulo, Brazil ( Sá & Sallum 2013).

Arbovirus infection records. None.

Occurrence in Brazil. States of São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul ( Gomes et al. 2010, as Sa. undosus / fabricii / ignotus ); Sá & Sallum 2013).

Occurrence in other countries. Colombia ( Wilkerson et al. 2021).
