( Figs. 11–12 View FIGURES 9 – 12 , 97–104 View FIGURES 97 – 104 , 105 View FIGURE 105 )
Homorosoma rhytidosomoides Wagner, 1944c: 100 (type locality: Fukien, Shaowu; Kwangtseh).? Rhinoncomimus rhytidosomoides : Voss, 1958: 67.
Rhinoncomimus rhytidosomoides: Korotyaev, 1997: 287 —Hong, Egorov and Kwon, 1999: 59—Hong, Egorov and Korotyaev, 2000: 115.—Korotyaev and Hong, 2004: 145.—Colonnelli, 2004: 33 (in catalog)—Korotyaev, 2006: 109 (Fujian, Taiwan).
Supplementary description. Male. LB: 1.96–2.17 (mean, 2.21). LR: 0.5.–0.71 (mean, 0.61). LP: 0.58–0.75 (mean, 0.69). N = 5 for all measurements. Male genitalia. Spiculum gastrale (sternite IX; Fig. 101 View FIGURES 97 – 104 ) slender, evidently longer than the penis or its apodeme, bent leftward. Tegmen ( Fig. 100 View FIGURES 97 – 104 ) with apodeme slender, nearly 1.3 times as long as the diameter of the tegminal ring, more or less widened toward the apex. Penis ( Figs. 97–99 View FIGURES 97 – 104 ) long and slender, relatively thin in profile, slightly bent upward in the apical 1/3; sides subparallel in basal half, then gradually convergent apically; apical projection ( Fig. 98 View FIGURES 97 – 104 ) truncate at apex. Basal part of the endophallus ( Fig. 97 View FIGURES 97 – 104 ) with a pair of plate-like sclerites, numerous moderately dense minute spicules, and numbers of smaller plate-like sclerites.
Female. LB: 2.30–2.89 (mean, 2.60). LR: 0.70–0.82 (mean, 0.76). LP: 0.88–0.95 (mean, 0.90). N = 5 for all measurements. Female genitalia. Sternite VIII ( Fig. 102 View FIGURES 97 – 104 ) with a pair of patches of several minute setae near the apex; arms relatively broad, nearly 0.8 times as long as apodemes, slightly shorter than the coxite and stylus combined, moderately basally fused, and apically subparallel; apodemes slender, moderately divergent near the apex. Coxites ( Fig. 103 View FIGURES 97 – 104 ) robust, nearly three times longer than styli; styli apicolaterally inserted, long and slender, nearly five times longer than wide. Spermatheca ( Fig. 104 View FIGURES 97 – 104 ) with cornu short, strongly curved and slightly attenuate; collum strongly convex; ramus distinct; insertions of the duct and gland relatively close to each other.

Distribution. China (Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Taiwan), Korea.
Biological notes. This species is found on Polygonum thunbergii Sieb. et Zucc. (Polygonaceae) (Korotyaev, 2006).
Remarks. The species is closely related to R. latipes but can be distinguished by having slender tarsi with segment III less than twice as wide as segment II, and protibia minutely mucronate. Moreover, the apex of the penis is truncate, different from the rounded apex in R. latipes .
