Material examined. India: 1 ♂, Manipur, Ukhrul district, Shirui Hill (Site 2), 25.1236°N 94.4408°E, 2036 m, 12.VII.2016; 1♂, Shirui Hill (Site 4), 25.1112°N 94.4534°E, 2425 m, 25.VII.2019, genitalia slide no. JSI-GP 281; leg. JS Irungbam (in coll. NZC, ZSI, Registration no. 11529/H10) GoogleMaps .
Diagnosis. Forewing length 34 mm in male. A large species. Forewing with pale brown ground colour; a contrasting large white discal spot and a white postmedian fascia. Hindwings brownish colour with weakly less contrasting fuscous submarginal space. Male genitalia with large socii.
Distribution. India: Manipur (In the present study). Elsewhere. Nepal ( Sugi 1993); Thailand, Vietnam, China ( Schintlmeister & Pinratana 2007).
