Deciduous or semi-evergreen small tree or large shrub; twigs tomentose. Leaves somewhat coriaceous, variable in size, usually pinnatifid, with 5-7 pairs of lobed, often overlapping segments, cordate at the base, tomentose or glabrescent beneath; petiole 10-25 mm. Peduncles 1-4 cm; involucre up to 1 5x2 0 mm; scales loosely imbricate, the lower ones tuberculate and glabrescent. W. & S. Greece; Aegean region. Cr Gr.
