C o m m e n t s: These are the first records of Q. quiris from Qinghai and Sichuan. The species was previously known only from Gansu.
Specimens were taken on a northern slope pasture with shrubs by sifting debris under shrubs (in Qinling Shan), in a creek valley with Picea, Populus and Betula forest by sifting forest floor litter, dead wood and moss and under stones along the creek (Jinsha Gorge and in Daban Shan), and in a spruce forest with shrubs by sifting forest floor litter, moss and mushrooms (in Gongangling pass).
