Distribution in North Carolina: All regions. Counties: BL, CB, CK, DD, GA, HA, JH, RB, WK, WY (material examined) and BN, BR, CA, CR, CS, CT, CU, DU, GS, IR, JA, LN, MA, ME, MO, NH, OR, RW, TR, UN (in literature).
Distribution in surrounding states: GA ( Brown 1953, Ipser et al. 2004), SC ( Brown 1964, Davies 2009), TN ( Brown 1964) and VA ( Deyrup and Cover 2009).
