Type locality. Denmark, Copenhagen (“Habitat Hafniae Dr. Pflug”).

Material examined. S & TL coll. 1 type.

Identity. Epinotia solandriana ( Linnaeus, 1758) ( Olethreutinae , Eucosmini ).

Remarks. Stephens (1834) assigned this Fabrician name to Epiblema , and Guenée (1845) subordinated it to a variety of E. solandriana (as Poedisca [sic] solandriana var. trapezana ). It is a stable synonym in the literature (e.g., Brown 2005).
