REMARKS

According to Rodríguez’ (1982) comments, this species, as well as Pseudothelphusa proxima Rathbun, 1905 , would be very close to Ph. acanthophallus . The holotype has the dorsal region of the carapace partially damaged ( Fig. 12C).
