Description of Pseudomonas taiwanensis View in CoL 18H1S12

Cells are Gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated and rod-shaped. Colonies are circular, flat and whtie-colored after 2 days of incubation on MH at 30° C. Negative reactions are obtained for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, urease, esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase and β -galactosidase in API 20NE. Does not utilize L- arabinose, D- mannose, D- mannitol, N -acetyl-glucosamine, D- maltose and adipic acid. Strain 18H1S12 (= NIBRBAC000502532) was isolated from a soil sample, Hanam, Gyeonggi-do, Korea .
