Diagnosis. The new species resembles Prosoponoides corneus sp. nov. in the entrance grooves with one and half coils in epigyne ( Fig. 257B, C View FIGURE 257 ; Fig. 259A–C View FIGURE 259 ), but can be distinguished by the parmula as long as epigynal plate P. bangbieensis sp. nov. ( Fig. 257B, C View FIGURE 257 ), whereas parmula 1/3 of the epigynal plate length in P. corneus sp. nov. ( Fig. 259A–C View FIGURE 259 ).

Clypeus 0.19 high. Sternum longer than wide, brown,, sparsely covered with microsetae. Labium wider than long. Maxillae long, distal end broad with scopulae. Chelicerae with two promarginal and three retromarginal teeth. Eyes: AER recurved, PER straight, slightly wider than AER. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.08, ALE 0.09, PME 0.08, PLE 0.09, AME–AME 0.04, PME–PME 0.08, AME–ALE, 0.07, PME–PLE 0.10, AME–PME 0.09, ALE–ALE 0.46, PLE–PLE 0.49, ALE–PLE contiguous. Length of legs: I 5.38 (1.54, 1.73, 1.34, 0.77), II 4.81 (1.35, 1.57, 1.24, 0.65), III 3.17 (0.94, 0.91, 0.78, 0.54), IV 4.52 (1.25, 1.34, 1.26, 0.67). Leg formula I-II-IV-III. Tm I 0.47 and Tm IV 0.34. Tibial spine formula: 2-2-2-2. Abdomen 2.29 long, 1.70 wide, cylindriform, grayish brown, with longitudinal band followed by oblique bands extending posteriorly and densely covered with white patches: ventral side light brown with a white patch near the base of spinnerets.
Epigyne ( Fig. 257B, C View FIGURE 257 ): Posteriorly with two openings of entrance grooves separated by median septum, margins curved and sclerotized. The entrance groove opening blocked with copulatory plug (seems distal suprategular apophysis of male palp broken into both openings in this female). Triangular parmula extending posteriorly from the dorsal plate, with a large pit ventrally. Vulva longer than wide, entrance grooves started from ventral wall, with one and half coils, turning points and spermathecae present dorso-mesally on apices; spermathecae thumbshaped, slightly overlapping each other, pointing anteriorly; fertilization ducts long, present dorso-laterally, extending mesally.
