Occiput grey pollinose. Postpronotal lobe dark brown. Prescutum and scutum greyish-brown pollinose in anterior half to two thirds and broadly along posterior margin (occasionally on entire surface). Pleura and subscutellum grey pollinose. Apical hair fringe of scutellum short, longest hairs about one sixth of maximum length of scutellum ( Fig. 76 View FIGURES 74 – 83 ). LTC about 0.9–1.0 times LFC. Halter darkened. Trochanter dark brown. Femur with apex narrowly yellow. Hind femur ventrally evenly convex ( Fig. 80 View FIGURES 74 – 83 ). Tibia dark, yellow in basal third (may be more extended dorsally). Tarsi brown, with distitarsi darkest. Pulvilli of front legs slightly shorter than distitarsi. Tergite 1 anterodorsally brown, otherwise grey pollinose. Tergite 2 dorsocentrally brown pollinose in anterior half, laterally grey in posterior and predominantly brown pollinose in anterior half. Tergites 3–5 dorsally shining (some narrow brown pollinosity may be present dorsally along anterior margin), laterally grey pollinose. Membranous area ovate. Phallus with three very short ejaculatory ducts.

Female: Body length: 5.1–5.4mm. Wing length: 5.3–5.9mm. Flagellum dark brown. Frons entirely silvergrey pollinose. Postpronotal lobe dark brown. Prescutum and scutum grey pollinose in anterior third to half and brownish-grey in as much as posterior quarter, otherwise shining. Pleura and subscutellum grey pollinose. LTC about 0.5–0.7 times LFC. Legs dark brown with apex of femur and at least basal third of tibia yellow (especially dorsally). Pulvilli of front legs 1.5 to almost twice as long as distitarsi. Tergites 1–6 laterally grey pollinose. Dorsally, tergite 1 brown pollinose in anterior and grey in posterior half. Tergites 2–6 dorsally shining except tergite 2, showing grey pollinose in anterior half. Ovipositor in lateral view with long and strongly curved piercer, without a ventral step ( Fig. 47 View FIGURES 43 – 54 ).

Annotations: All three syntypes involved were studied. The male type specimen from the UMO collection was dissected and is hereby designated as lectotype. Morakote & Hirashima (1990) record and redescribe the male of this taxon from material collected in Japan. The single female cited should most probably be an additional male, as they do not redescribe, figure nor include the female sex in their identification key.
