Distribution. Palaearctic ( Skuhrovec 2013)
Material examined. 62 specimens ( DMLU, KUMN, NSPU, SIZK, ZMUK) .
Biology. Meadows, fields, ruderal habitats. Adults occur in III–VIII. On Fabaceae , mostly Medicago spp . ( Petrukha 1949)
Notes. It is often confused with H. postica , thus distribution data may refer to both species.
