Material examined:— THAILAND, Ranong, on unidentified dead wood, 5 October 2017 ; M. Zeng, ST03 ( MFLU 18-0713 View Materials , HKAS 97491 View Materials ) .

Note: This species is characterized by yellowish paraphyses and guttulate ascospores with faint striations. The first description of this species was by Le Gal (1953) and the first record from Thailand was by Hansen et al. (1999). Remarkably, there are no publications mentioned whether this species have a sheath surrounding the ascospores. Ascospores surround by a gelatinous sheath was observed in our collection ( MFLU 18-0713).
