Holotype ILS (= actual number MLS 155 ) ( fig. 24 ), male. Vicinity of Pamplona , Norte de Santander, Colombia. 2340 meters elevation. Brother Nicéforo María, Dec. 1937.

Remarks: The original publication lacks the catalog number, a later publication reports that ILS 65 is the number of the type ( Lazell, 1969), but this number is erroneous. Specimens MLS 155 is hydrated and in good state of preservation.
