Type:—“Illustration” Klotzsch in Bot. Ergebn. Reise Waldemar [Klotzsch & Garcke]: pl. 57. 1862 (lectotype, designated here).
Notes:— Klotzsch (1862) described Pedicularis tubiformis based on the collection of Dr. Hoffmeister from Himalaya . Klotzsch’s types are known to be held at B, but after contacting the curator of B herbarium no specimen of Hoffmeister from Himalaya for the name P. tubiformis Klotzsch could be traced. Therefore, the plate 57 provided by Klotzsch in the protologue is the remaining original material and is chosen here as the lectotype.
