What are thought to be females of P. vanuatuensis , from Tanna and Aneityum Islands, cannot be separated from probable females of P. ciliata , from Espiritu Santo. Therefore, no females are listed as paratypes and they have all been labeled simply as “ Parvisquama sp. ”.
