Paromphacodes onae Lindt, Tasane, Õunap , & Viidalepp sp. nov.

The holotype, with the voucher 30v is deposited in the IZBE collection, 1 paratype specimen in the EMNH collection (Tallinn), and 5 paratypes in the ZSM collection (München, Germany) and 2 paratypes in the private collection of A. Lindt.

Diagnosis. Shape and colour of forewings as in P. alticola sp. nov. and P. alpha sp. nov., but hindwings with faint discal spots and with a thin green marginal line. Male genitalia similar to those in P. alticola sp. nov. and P. alpha sp. nov.

Description. Wing span (22–24 mm) and color of wings as in P. alticola sp. nov. and P. alpha sp. nov. described above, but the costal edge of forewing is lined broader, dull yellow and the marginal line is thin, redbrown, the basal part of fringe brown on forewing, fringe otherwise white. There are minute cell-spots on hindwings.

Male genitalia (Fig. 12): slightly differing from those in P. alpha sp. nov. in the cochlear slenderer, and the dorsal processes of the costal plate closer together. The cochlear is relatively longer than in P. alpha sp. nov. Female and preimaginal stages unknown.

Genetic data. Nearest neighbour on BOLD Paromphacodes alpha sp. nov. (KP2 minimum pairwise distance 3.0%) ( Tab. 1).

Derivatio nominis. The name onae refers to the type locality of the species, Ona near Loja, Ecuador.
