TYPE:— CHINA. Yunnan, Dali, Tsikeou, Kichen , Tapintze , 20 August 1889, Delavay s.n. (lectotype designated here: P05556390 ; isolectotypes: P05556391 , P05556392 , P06392693 , K000739461 , L0281534 , US 00096915)
Notes: The only specimen mentioned in the protologue of Parnassia crassifolia was cited as ‘ China occidentale, province d’Yunnan, dans lesmarais de Tsi-keou, a la base du Ki-chen, pres de Tapin-tze (Delavay) ’, without the collection number or the collection time. We matched these descriptions to four specimens in P and three specimens in other herbaria ( K, L, and US). A well-presented specimen from P with barcode 05556390 which contains the most flowers is here selected as the lectotype.
