Description. Length 2.8–3.1 mm. Body black. Head about 0.9 times as long as wide. Ratio of length of compound eyes to length of head about 0.2. Antennomeres ( Fig. 2 View Figs ) 4–10 almost moniliform. Infraorbital carina incomplete, nuchal carina distinct. Labrum ( Fig. 3 View Figs ) almost straight anteriorly, no sensilla on anterior margin, punctures more or less uniformly distributed. Epipharynx ( Fig. 4 View Figs ). Mandible ( Fig. 5 View Figs ) with 3 small teeth between apex and median tooth. Maxilla as in Figure 6 View Figs . Labial palpi ( Fig. 7 View Figs ) with 3 articles, 2 and 3 subequal in length, and slightly shorter than 1, each much narrower than preceding; twin pores and median pores present, prementum with several pseudopores medially and laterally, real pores and setal pores present. Mentum ( Fig. 8 View Figs ) triangular, deeply incised with U­shaped or V­shaped emargination at apex, bearing several long setae. Submentum with numerous deep punctures. Pronotum subquadrate. Tarsal formula 4­4­4; lengths of anterior and middle tarsomere 4 subequal to tarsomeres 1 + 2 + 3 together. Elytra about 1.3 times as long as wide; about 0.8–0.9 times as long as pronotum. Anterior margin of abdominal tergites III–VI straight. Stenite VIII of male slightly prolonged posteiorly (Fig.
