Comments: This New Zealand species also lacks a true subcercopodal spiniform process, instead having a triangular process ( Timms and McLay 2005, Figs. 2G View Fig , 3C View Fig ). Moreover, its cercopod spinal position is at 50% of the cercopod length, there are 9–12 antennomeres per flagellum, and in the only collection available there are nine males and two females, hardly a ratio expected for Eulimnadia , but indicative that gonochoristic reproduction is likely. There is a small mound on the endite IV corm medial surface, again not definitive. This species has far more affinities with Paralimnadia than Eulimnadia and so should be shifted to Paralimnadia .
