Distribution: — BOLIVIA: La Paz, Cochabamba (Chapare), Santa Cruz. Cloud forest; 2300–2600 m elev.Also occurs in Peru.

Representative specimens examined: — BOLIVIA. La Paz: Saavedra, 11 km de Charazani en el camino a Apolo, 2571 m elev., 15°10.59’S, 68°54.57’W, 11 February 2003 (fl, fr), J.R.I. Wood 19038 (K, LPB). Cochabamba: Chapare, 5 km beyond Corani Pampa, 2400 m elev., 9 December 1995 (fl, fr), J.R.I. Wood 10221 (K, LPB).
