[ Holotype: SEMC; ♂ Tetley’s Mountain Camp , San Bernardino Mountains, California, USA; May 16, 1936]

This species occurs in western North America from southern British Columbia, Canada to BC, Mexico and specializes on pollen from Astraglus L., Lotus L., and Trifolium L. ( Fabaceae ) ( Fowler 2020). Within BC, this species has only been recorded in Sierra San Pedro Mártir in June 1953 by BBSL. See fig. 264.
