Redescription. Length 11.2–13.1 mm, width 6.6–8.4 mm. General color ( Figs 5A–5C View FIGURE5 ) yellow; antennomeres IV–XI black; metasternum dark brown; tarsi and outer sides of tibiae darker; elytra with two pairs of longitudinal black stripes, slender and ill-marginated, one pair near suture, from near base to apical 1/5, the other from humeral calli to apical 1/5. Antennae filiform in males ( Fig. 6A View FIGURE 6 ), antennomeres IV longest, VI–XI slender, length ratios of antennomeres I–XI 1.0: 0.6: 0.8: 1.0: 0.8: 0.8: 0.7: 0.8: 0.7: 0.6: 0.8, length to width ratios of antennomeres I–XI 2.4: 1.8: 2.6: 2.5: 2.3: 2.4: 2.3: 2.5: 2.1: 1.9: 2.8; similar in females ( Fig. 6B View FIGURE 6 ), length ratios of antennomeres I–XI 1.0: 0.6: 0.8: 1.0: 0.8: 0.8: 0.7: 0.8: 0.7: 0.6: 0.9, length to width ratios of antennomeres I–XI 2.4: 2.0: 2.7: 2.7: 2.2: 2.2: 1.9: 2.2: 1.9: 1.8: 3.0. Pronotum transverse, 1.9x wider than long, disc without reticulate microsculpture but with fine punctures; baso-lateral angles angular, apico-lateral angles narrowly rounded, apical margin truncate. Elytra elongate oval, widest at middle, 1.3–1.4x longer than wide; disc without reticulate microsculpture but with dense, coarse punctures, slightly convex, epipleurae near lateral margins, located 9/10 distance between suture and lateral margins, strongly broadened at basal 1/5, apically narrowed and abbreviated at apical 1/3; humeral calli prominent. Penis ( Figs 6C–6E View FIGURE 6 ) wide, 5.3x longer than wide; parallel-sided, apically narrowed; tectum transverse and apical margin irregular; slightly curved in lateral view, apex narrowly rounded; ventral surface with shallow and narrow notch from apex to apical 1/5, apices narrowly rounded, internal sac without sclerites. Apical margin of abdominal ventrite V in female truncate, slightly depressed at middle. Ventrite VIII ( Fig. 6F View FIGURE 6 ) transverse, apical margin bifurcate, apical processes broadly rounded, with dense setae along apical margin; spiculum wide. Receptacle of spermatheca ( Fig. 6G View FIGURE 6 ) as wide as pump, connected to pump; pump strongly curved, apically broadened; proximal spermathecal duct membranous, slender and short, sclerotized area at apex with scale-like depression.
Diagnosis. Adults of Oides antennata is similar to those of O. quadrivittata in possessing two pairs of longitudinal black stripes on the elytra but they differ in having the stripes more slender and weakly defined. The aedeagi of adult males of O. antennata possess a shallow and narrow notch on the ventral surface of the penis and a small, wide tectum. In adults of O. quadrivittata the aedeagi possess a deep and wide notch at the ventral surface of the penis and an elongate and apically narrowed tectum.
