Current Status. Synonym of Cassida depicta Boheman, 1862 .
Remarks. Weise (1898) did not specify how many specimens he had at his disposal, but he gave a body length range indicating he must have had at least two. In the MFNB, there are ten syntypes of C. usambarica , all of which have the locality label “Kwai”, which is situated in the West Usambara Mountains.
