Remarks.—The most typical features of this coral are: solitary growth form; narrow calicular pit; septa of lower three orders subequal in thickness; dense granulation of septal faces composed of small, pointed granules; abundant dissepiments; thick wall of epithecal−septal structure.
Stratigraphic and geographic range.— Austria: Northern Calcareous Alps, Dachstein Plateau, north of Feisterscharte, lower Norian, Epigondolella quadrata Conodont Zone.
