Myiospila meditabunda var. angustifrons Malloch, 1922 The Annals and Magazine of natural history, 9(X): 132. Type locality: India (Gulmarg, Kashmir).

Distribution in India: Kashmir (Gulmarg and Dal Lake) and Himachal Pradesh (Rohtang La) ( Emden 1965; Pont 1977).

Newly reported: West Bengal (Kalimpong, 27.0824° N 88.7007° E).
