World distribution. Argentina and Chile.
Chilean distribution. From Coquimbo to La Araucanía region ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 10 ).
Altitudinal range. From coastal to precordillera ecosystems (50– 1,000 m.a.s.l.).
Biology and notes. Myolepta haemorrhoidalis is a species associated to exotic flora as Crataegus sp. (Joaquín Sepúlveda, CSP record; Fig. 4 View FIGURES 4–9 ) and Prunus domestica L. (Orlando Montes, CSP record) and native tree Quillaja saponaria Molina (Victoria Kunst, CSP record).
Conservation status. LC; EOO = 25,360 km 2; AOO = 68 km 2; 15 localities and subpopulations.
