Pygmy Devil Ray or Munk’s Devil Ray. 110 cm (43.3 in) DW ( Couturier et al. 2012). Todos Santos (23°24.6’N, 110°13.8’W), southern Baja California (John Snow, pers. comm. to M.L.); Gulf of California to Peru, Islas Galápagos and other offshore islands ( Robertson and Allen 2008). Depth: surface to 30 m (98 ft) (Weigman 2016), and to benthos in nearshore waters ( Smith et al. 2009).
