Leptocera (Limosina) furculisterna Deeming, 1969: 70 View in CoL [male, illustr.]. Type locality: Nepal, Taplejung Distr., between Sangu and Tamrang [5,200 ft]. HT male (BMNH).

Minilimosina (Svarciella) furculisterna View in CoL .— Roháček, 1983: 31 [generic combination]; Roháček & Marshall, 1988: 247 [redescription, both sexes, phylogenetic notes, illustr.].

Diagnosis. Body colour shining black. 2 pairs of dorsocentral setae. Eye 3.0 times as high as gena. Antennae yellow. Apical scutellar seta 1.5 times as long as scutellum length. Cs2 0.9 times as long as Cs3. First tarsomere of fore leg ( Fig. 72 View FIGURES 72 – 77 ) blackish brown, 4 apical tarsomeres white, distinctly paler than yellow mid and hind tarsi, sometimes hind tarsus ( Fig. 73 View FIGURES 72 – 77 ) with black tarsomeres 1–2. Tergite 5 desclerotized medially, divided into two sclerites. Male sternite 5 ( Fig. 77 View FIGURES 72 – 77 ) with a setose posteromedial lobe flanked by a pair of apically setose lobes, posteromedial lobe with an apical comb-row. Postgonite ( Fig. 76 View FIGURES 72 – 77 ) extraordinarily broad.

Materal examined. (LKLSU, in alcohol): 1 male: China, Zhejiang, Mt. Tianmu, Qianmutian, sweep, 1505 m, E 119°25′ 45.23″, N30°20′ 49.56″, 29.Jun.2013, Lixin Su; 2 males: China, Zhejiang, Mt. Tianmu, Qianmutian, sweep, 1409 m, E 119°25′ 51.38″, N 30°20′ 42.99″, 30.Jun.2013, Lixin Su.

Comments. The species is here recorded from China for the first time, being previously only known in Nepal and Japan.

Distribution. Oriental: China (Zhejiang), Nepal; Palaearctic: Japan.
