linearis ; I. barbarus is unknown in Turkey, according to Putshkov and Moulet (2010).

Coranus niger (Rambur, 1840) was first mentioned by Gadeau de Kerville (1939) from İzmir for Asian Turkey, but the records from Turkey were considered erroneous by Putshkov and Moulet (2010). This species is distributed in southern Europe.

The total number of known Reduviidae in Turkey, which was formerly 56 species and 19 genera, is now 57 species and 19 genera.
