Metaphire dranfocana : Lam et al. 2020: 19.
Type locality. Vietnam ( Dak Lak: Drang Phoc) .
Type material. CTU ( EW.134.h01, EW.134.p02).
Distribution. Dak Lak (Yok Don NP) (Thai et al. 1993; T. T. Nguyen et al. 2016).
Remarks. Tung T. Nguyen et al. (2016) assigned the species to the genus Amynthas , however, the original description of Thai et al. (1993) mentioned the male pore located deeply inside the copulatory pouches. Lam et al. (2020) has re-examined the type specimen and transferred the species to the genus Metaphire due to the present of large copulatory pouches.
