Like 2 but subglabrous annual with erect stems; leaves glabrous; calyx up to 2(?-2-5) mm; corolla up to 3-5 mm; fertile anthers 0-25 mm; nutlets 0-5 mm. Dry steppes. S.E. Russia, W. Kazakhstan. Rs (E). Sect, preslia (Opiz) Harley. Bracts like the leaves; bracteoles digitately lobed. Verticillasters many-flowered. Calyx tubular, with 4 equal teeth; throat hairy within. Corolla-tube straight.
