Remarks.
Introduced by Pallary (1916) for the alleged junior homonym " Melanopsis paulovici Brusina, 1902", non Bourguignat, 1880. However, Brusina (1902) had named his species " pavlovici ", which makes Melanopsis ripajensis its junior objective synonym. Note that Art. 58.4. (regarding the use of u or v for the same Latin letter) does not apply here, because the names are not based on Latin words but on the names of two different persons.
