Material. ♂, [West] Malaysia, Pahang, Cameron Highlands, Tanah Rata , 20–24.II.1998, A. Kudrna Jr. leg. ( ICM) .

Remarks. In addition to the characters suggested by Pic (1938), M. depressus seems to be separated from the imago Platerodrilus species by the narrowing proximally terminal ventrite and non-sclerotised laterally proximal portion of the also narrowing proximally phallobase, with less manifest median proximal incision ( Figs 18, 20 ).
