Description. FEMALE: (n = 12) Body fusiform, 198 (164–198), 63 (55–63) wide, 45 (45–47) thick; red. Gnathosoma 28 (27–28), projecting obliquely down, pedipalp coxal seta (ep) 3 (2–3), dorsal pedipalp genual seta (d) 6 (6–7), cheliceral stylets 25 (17–25). Prodorsal shield 45 (35–45), 45 (45–48) wide, median line present at basal 1/6 and connected with admedian lines by transverse lines, admedian lines complete and connected by a short line at basal 2/3, median and admedian lines forming a large cell on middle of prodorsal shield, submedian lines and granules, coxal plates II with granules, anterolateral setae on coxisternum І (1b) 11 (11–12), 12 (12–13) apart, proximal setae on coxisternum І (1a) 21 (21–23), 11 (11–12) apart, proximal setae on coxisternum І (2a) 37 (37– 39), 25 (25–27) apart. Prosternal apodeme 2 (2–3). Legs with usual series of setae. Leg І 27 (27–30), femur 9 (8– 9), basiventral femoral seta (bv) 9 (9–10); genu 5 (4–5), antaxial genual seta (l'') 17 (17–18); tibia 5 (5–6), paraxial tibial seta (l') 4 (4–5), located at center; tarsus 6 (5–6), seta ft' 7 (7–11), seta ft'' 5 (5–3), seta u' 5 (4–5), tarsal empodium (em) 6 (5–6), simple, 6-rayed, tarsal solenidion (ω) 18 (16–18), rod-like. Leg І 22 (22–25), femur 7 (6– 24 (23–24), rod-like. Opisthosoma: dorsally with 27 (25–27) annuli, with a wide furrow, with filamentous microtubercles on rear annular margins, ventrally with 64 (61–64) annuli, with elliptical microtubercles on rear annular margins. Setae c2 17 (17–18) on ventral annulus 11 (11–12), 62 (50–62) apart; setae d 35 (35–38) on ventral annulus 23 (23–25), 50 (40–50) apart; setae e 8 (5–8) on ventral annulus 38 (38–39), 21 (21–22) apart, setae f 10 (10–15) on 5th ventral annulus from rear, 15 (15–16) apart. Setae h1 2 (2–3), h2 48 (37–48). Female genitalia 14 (13–15), 23 (23–25) wide, coverflap with 13 short ridges at base and 13 longitudinal ridges, setae 3a 31 (31– 33), 15 (15–16) apart.

MALE: (n = 2) Body fusiform, 151–158, 62–63 wide; red. Gnathosoma 23–24, projecting obliquely down, pedipalp coxal seta (ep) 3–4, dorsal pedipalp genual seta (d) 5–6, cheliceral stylets 22–23. Prodorsal shield 38–40, 44–45 wide, median line present at basal 1/6 and connected with admedian lines by transverse lines, admedian lines complete and connected by a short line at basal 2/3, median and admedian lines forming a large cell on middle of prodorsal shield, submedian lines present; anterior shield lobe acuminate. Scapular tubercles ahead of rear shield margin, 16–17 apart, scapular setae (sc) 16–17, projecting up. Coxal plates I with short lines and granules, coxal plates II with granules, anterolateral setae on coxisternum І (1b) 11–12, 12–13 apart, proximal setae on coxisternum І (1a) 18–20, 11–12 apart, proximal setae on coxisternum І (2a) 23–25, 25–26 apart. Prosternal apodeme 2–3. Legs with usual series of setae. Leg І 25–26, femur 8–9, basiventral femoral seta (bv) 8–9; genu 4– 5, antaxial genual seta (l'') 15–16; tibia 5–6, paraxial tibial seta (l') 4–5, located at center; tarsus 5–6, seta ft' 5–6, seta ft'' 3–5, seta u' 4–5, tarsal empodium (em) 5–6, simple, 6-rayed, tarsal solenidion (ω) 16–17, rod-like. Leg І 22–25, femur 6–7, basiventral femoral seta (bv) 7–8; genu 3–4, antaxial genual seta 5–6; tibia 4–5; tarsus 5–6, seta ft' 2–3, seta ft'' 2–3, seta u' 3–4, tarsal empodium (em) 5–6, simple, 6-rayed, tarsal solenidion (ω) 23–24, rod-like. Opisthosoma: dorsally with 19–20 annuli, with a wide furrow, with filamentous microtubercles on rear annular margins, ventrally with 52–55 annuli, with elliptical microtubercles on rear annular margins. Setae c2 20–21 on ventral annulus 8–9, 52–55 apart; setae d 33–35 on ventral annulus 17–18, 34–35 apart; setae e 5–6 on ventral annulus 28–30, 20–21 apart, setae f 14–15 on 5th ventral annulus from rear, 15–16 apart. Setae h1 2–3, h2 43–45. Male genitalia 18–20 wide, setae 3a 17–20, 14–15 apart.

Type material. Holotype, female (slide number NJAUAcariEriH54, marked Holotype), from Tilia amurensis Rupr. (Tiliaceae) , Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, P. R. China, 47°43'36''N, 128°55'12''E, elevation 234m, 25 July 2008, coll. Xiao-Feng Xue, Zhen Wang & Zi-Wei Song. Paratypes, 11 females and 2 males (slide number NJAUAcariEriH54), with the same data as holotype.

Relation to host. Vagrant on leaf surface. No damage to the host was observed.

Etymology. The specific designation amurensis is from the species name of host plant, amurensis .
