Range:— Panama to Guyanas, Amazonia. In Bolivia, recorded in BE, CO, LP, and PA. Ecology:— Common; hemiepiphytic in humid forests, growing on fallen branches and tree bases; to 1800 m. Notes:— Lomariopsis latipinna Stolze , from Amazonian Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, is likely to occur in Amazonian Bolivia. It differs from all Bolivian Lomariopsis species by having fewer (1–5) pinna pairs and somewhat fleshy pinnae 6–10 cm wide.
