Leptus (Leptus) darvishi Saboori, Hakimitabar & Khademi, 2018

Material studied: Two larvae from Faculty of Agriculture, Aydin Adnan Menderes University, 37° 45' 36.0" N, 27° 45' 14.6" E, 120 m a.s.l., Cihan Aslı and Mesut Sayan col., on 31 August 2022, on unidentified grasshoppers ( Orthoptera : Acrididae ). The specimens are deposited in the Acarological Collection, Acarology Laboratory, Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Aydin Adnan Menderes University, Aydin, Türkiye.

Remarks

Leptus (L.) darvishi is reported for the first time from Türkiye. Metric data are given in Table 3. Our specimens extend the maximum range of AP (15 to 19), PL (53 to 57), 1b (70 to 78), Ta I (170 to 199), Ti I (163 to 207), Ge I (143 to 149), Leg I (848 to 923), Ta II (145 to 167), Ti II (163 to 167), Ge II (113 to 121), Leg II (713 to 775), Ta III (188 to 209), Ti III (238 to 246), Ge III (135 to 139), TFe III (113 to 121), Leg III (878 to 957) and extends the minimum range of 1a (48 to 38), 2a (35 to 32), GL (240 to 230).
