Description of Leisingera nanhaiensis KHS View in CoL 03
Cells are Gramstainingnegative, nonflagellated, pigmented and rodshaped. Colonies are circular and beige colored after 3 days on MA at 25°C. In API 20NE, positive for nitrate reduction and negative for esculin hydrolysis, β galactosidase arginine dihydrolase, urease, indole production glucose fermentation, gelatinase and assimilation of Dglucose, Larabinose, Dmannose, Dmannitol, N acetylglucosamine, potassium gluconate, malic acid, Dmaltose, capric acid, adipic acid, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid. Strain KHS03 (= NIBRBA 0000114943) has been isolated from gut of Todarodes pacificus , Korea.
