( Figs 15, 18, 22 View FIGURES 13–22 )
Traglostus pubescens Schedl, 1941 View in CoL , orig. spelling (new comb. by Jordal 2021) Type material. Holotype, male: [ Botswana] Sud Afrika, D. Betschuanaland, Serule [GIS: -21.90, 27.33], Seiner [NHMW].
Diagnosis, male. Length 2.4 mm, 2.4 × as long as wide. Antennal scapus short, round, about twice the width of the pedicel, with few setae not longer than scapus; antennal club with two procurved sutures distinctly marked by short setae, basal segment subglabrous; scutellum with bristle-like setae; elytral interstriae with mixed narrowly spatulate and bristle-like setae, in most interstriae confused, on declivity twice as long compared to disc; protibiae with 4 apical denticles. Female not known.
Distribution. Botswana, South Africa.
Remarks. The holotype is a male as judged by the narrow scapus and the modest tuft of setae on its dorsal side. The frons is largely concealed by the pronotum.
