Subfamily Juralydinae Rasnitsyn, 1977
Included genera and species. Juralyda udensis Rasnitsyn, 1977 (Jurassic) , Scabolyda orientalis Wang et al., 2014 (Jurassic) , Scabolyda incompleta Wang et al., 2014 (Jurassic) , Atocus defessus Scudder, 1892 (Late Eocene), Atocus cockerelli (Rohwer, 1908) (originally in the genus Neurotoma, Late Eocene View in CoL ), Tapholyda caplani ( Cockerell, 1933) (Oligocene) .
Remark. Note that Taeger et al. (2010) ignored the Juralydinae in their list of the extant and fossil Pamphiliidae , and considered its type genus Juralyda Rasnitsyn, 1977 as a Pamphiliidae incertae sedis.
Diagnosis (modified after Wang et al., 2014). First flagellomere distinctly thicker than following flagellomeres, twice to three times as long as second flagellomere. Forewing with Sc2 meeting R before 1- Rs (when preserved or present); 1-Rs always developed (Rs+M always separated from R) and about half as long as, or slightly longer than, half of 1-M; M+Cu gently bent, with ap-Cu extremely short when present; cell 1mcu shorter than length of pterostigma; cell 2r much wider than cell 2r-m, and 3r-m separated from 2m-cu by a distance equal or subequal to its length.
