Matto Grosso: bei Corumbá, September 1897, S. Endlicher 230 (holotype B, destroyed (Field Museum Berlin Negative # 5398!)).
Distribution:— Brazil (microendemic).
Notes: —The only known specimen of this species was destroyed in World War II, and we have been unable to locate any additional material that would be suitable to serve as the neotype.
