Note. – A paratype of Iresine rzedowskii is T. Borsch, S. Zumaya & H. Flores 3788b (B barcode B 10 0 715453 [image!], ENCB!, IEB!, MEXU!, US!) to represent a pistillate individual from the same population.

Taxonomic status: Probably a natural entity (monophylum) as currently defined (A).
