Alajuela, Sector Rincon Rain Forest, Estación Llanura, 10.93332, -85.25331, 135 meters, caterpillar collection date: 12/vi/2009, wasp eclosion date: 25/vii/2009, one of nine wasps that emerged from the same host caterpillar. Depository: CNC.

Host data. Gregarious parasitoid of Stenoma Janzen07feeding on Vismia billbergiana ( Hypericaceae ).

Etymology.

Hormius nelsonzamorai is named in recognition of Nelson Zamora’s decades of cheerfully and energetically providing high quality identifications for the foods of the caterpillar hosts of the parasitoids of ACG.
