Material examined. 1Ƌ, labeled ‘ Malaysia: Sabah, Mt. Trus Madi, Borneo Jungle Girl Camp , 05°27'03.96''N, 116°26'52.48''E, rotten wood, sifted, 986m, x.2015, Jian-Yun Wang leg.’. GoogleMaps

Distribution. Previously known from East Malaysia (Crocker Range: Mt. Kinabalu and Mt. Emas) and Indonesia (Sumatra and Siberut Is.) ( Jałoszyński, 2006); herein newly recorded from East Malaysia: Mt. Trus Madi.

Remarks. This species can be readily identified by the strongly modified hind legs in males, with long, thin and curved metatrochanteral projections, metafemora with ventral margin more convex than dorsal margin, metatibiae very strongly bent in the proximal third; in female metatibiae are also strongly bent ( Jałoszyński, 2006). Bionomics. The presented individual was found crawling in the gaps of bark of a rotten tree in Mt. Trus Madi ( Figs 22–23 View FIGURES 21 – 23 ).
