Remark. The citation of H. nitidus ( Templeton, 1835) in Edough probably results from a confusion with H. tetrophthalmus , which was considered as a synonym of H. nitidus by Mari-Mutt (1980), a conception challenged by Bendjaballah et al. (2018); we have never seen the typically orange H. nitidus in Algeria.
