Hallodapus linnavuorii Miyamoto, 1966 View in CoL
( Figs. 2 View FIGURE 2 F, 5D̄E, 11)
Hallodapus linnavuorii Miyamoto, 1966: 433 View in CoL (n. sp.); Schuh, 1995: 225 (cat.); Kerzhner & Josifov, 1999: 292 (cat.); Yasunaga, 2001: 153 (diag.); Vinokurov et al., 2010: 126 (cat.); Duwal et al., 2016: 105 (cat.); Yasunaga et al., 2016: 385 (cat.).
Diagnosis. Recognized by its orange-brown or brown body, with shining head and pronotum; brown hemelytron with two white transverse maculae: anterior wide transverse macula obscure on claval commissure and posterior quadrate macula adjacent to the cuneal fracture; pale antennae and tibiae, reddish antennal segment I provided with a white longitudinal stripe ventrally; and form of male genital structures ( Figs. 5 View FIGURE 5 D̄E, 11). For detailed description see Miyamoto (1966: 433̄436; figs. 14̄16).
Two teneral specimens were suspected to be a new species because they were relatively smaller than the usual size of H. linnavuorii , and bear pale appendages with red stripes on antennal segment I and the femora. But on further observation of the male genital structures, they were found to be H. linnavuorii . The female specimens are mostly brachypterous and thus the length apex cuneal fracture was measured between apices of clypeus to corium.
