One ♀ syntype with labels: “ ♀ St Catherina, Brésil, Mr H de Saussure” [handwritten on ruled white card with “ Brésil ” printed]; “ Gryllodes parvipennis Sauss. ” [handwritten on green paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. Both antennae, the claw of the right front leg, the entire right middle leg and both hind legs are missing. No syntypes could be located in the MNHN (Desutter, pers. comm.). Box A 14 .
