Remarks. The numerous specimens of G. takedai from Papua New Guinea agree with the description and figures of specimens previously known from the Philippines ( Richer de Forges & Ng 2012); and the range of the species is here extended to PNG. The depth range in PNG for G. takedai is 340 to 743 m. This is a new record for PNG.
